Ghost of Tsushima cuts through the platform walls

As PlayStation continue to release more titles on the PC market, fresh on the back of Horizon: Forbidden West we have one of my personal favourite titles for the PS4 generation coming May 16th. Ahead of the release the team behind the port, Nixxes, have shared more details on the PlayStation blog of just want this PC conversation brings to the party. Headline grabbing is the new, optional overlay that will ship with the game (thankfully, not yet another launcher for us to endure). Among many things this in-game panel will provide, is full cross play support for the online Legends mode, allowing PS4, PS5 and PC players to slash limbs off with all formats making the cut.

In addition, the overlay also allows you to unlock Trophies, friends list, settings and can be popped up in game or, most importantly for PC, via Shift+F1. The cost of entry is to log into your existing PlayStation account OR create a new one. Do not worry Steam Achievement lovers, the game still supports them should you want that authentic PC pop-up.

The team also shared the specifics of the PC port which will again support DLSS3, FSR3, XeSS and higher in DLAA and FSR3 Native resolution if plain 4K is just too low. The range of PC specs have also been shared which shows the PS4 roots of the title scaling down to a 5500XT or Geforce 960 at 720/30 fps at Low settings. Which seems a little low for that specification based on the 1080p PS4 version, but you can go all the way up to 4K and beyond. As is often the case the game also ships with the IKI island DLC and the Legend modes so you get everything in the box (digital version, so just imagine) and I will be covering the game across a range of machines close to launch. For now, peruse the PC specification list below and sharpen your blade for battle.
